JAIL MINISTRY ANYONE? Not everyone is called to jail ministry. But maybe You are? I’m a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Empire. Both my wife and I volunteer at the Benzie County Jail in Beulah. It really is blessed work and the fields are ripe, but the laborers are few. Tuesday evenings are set aside for Catholic ministry at the jail. If you feel you are called to this Ministry, or if you are curious, please contact me, Paul Brandenburg at (517) 862-8007 or paulmb55@gmail.com.

Christ the King Sunday November 25th and 26th Saturday 5:00 PM Sunday 10:00 AM The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, commonly referred to as the Feast of Christ the King, Christ the King Sunday or Reign of Christ Sunday, is a feast in the liturgical year which emphasizes the true kingship of Christ. Christ The King Sunday Today is the last Sunday of the liturgical year before Advent. We take this Sunday to reflect on Christ's kingship over our lives and the entire universe. Its place at the end of the liturgical year also reminds us of His Second Coming at the end of time. Advent Sunday, December 3, 2023 - Sunday, December 24, 2023 Advent is a season observed in most Christian denominations as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for both the celebration of the Nativity of Christ at Christmas and the return of Christ at the Second Coming. Advent is the beginning of the liturgical year in Western Christianity.
